Some of my art that I'm relatively proud of so far. These are logo designs mostly. Still working on the whole digital illustration and product packaging department. Do you guys have work you're proud of?

 Ashley Logo Design Next Career

A fairly simple text logo. The company was about assisting students with their future careers. They had me do the website design first and then cook up whatever logo that fit the layout. I liked the logo more than the layout in the end, apparently.

This logo was the most frustrating of all. Tons of revisions had to be done because of "that" sort of client. Anyways, I thought it looked cute and definitely has room for improvement. I'll probably get back to it soon

Opposite to the previous work, this was the most fun for me. Working with the gradients, fonts and colors was refreshing and, as per the concept, very lively and youthful.

The concept that made this work most endearing to me was the 3D elements I had to incorporate into it. Working with the gradients and creating a 3D work of art from a 2D perspective made it a lot of fun.

One of the stuff I had to do for StartupWeekend Bohol was to do the brand's designs. From customizing the logo, to tarpaulins, social media posters, shirts, mugs, etc, almost everything. It was a very fun process for me and I hope that showed through my work. I'm definitely looking forward to organizing another StartupWeekend soon. Hopefully, at a different city this time.

Askbuildshare is a site I'm currently working on for my internship at Sym.ph. This mock-up was part of a branding exercise the company's designers had to do and since I was building the site, it made sense this was the startup I had to rebrand. We had a vision of mainly teachers eventually using the site so I wanted the "new" look to be more professional and edgy but welcoming enough for people to visit it and take it seriously.

It felt great being able to design for my mom again. I particularly enjoyed creating this one because of the clean type and symbolism I got to work with. It also makes me kind of proud of myself for making something she seemed really pleased with.

I have no idea what it is about this poster but I seem to want to look at it every time I log in my computer. Is it the color? The composition? The font style? Or maybe there's something seriously wrong with it. You tell me.

As I mentioned in my cafe review post, I won't be updating it anymore. I had the privilege to do the blog's branding and editing its theme, not to mention it being an introvert's cafe review blog for a change. I quite liked how it all turned out, actually. I learned that it isn't easy to be kawaii after working on this.

This was a Christmas card made to support a fund raising activity for a youth ministry. I didn't have my pen tablet at the time so I had to resort to doing it the old school way by drawing it by hand then vectoring it digitally. To change things up, I decided to, instead of refining it while vectoring, trace it as exactly as I could to the original hand-drawn picture. Safe to say the output was better than expected.

Check out my latest posts in my blog to see what I've been up to. I'll keep adding to this list as I go.
